Tenancy Agreement
Your Tenancy Agreement is between you and Empower which you will sign before moving into your new home.
This agreement means you are agreeing to pay money to Empower Housing Association so you can live in your home.
Your rent will pay for your house and gardening, window cleaning and the Empower Housing staff to help you.
Support Services provided by Empower
The support is needed so that you can live in your house for as long as you want. The support we offer is:
- Assistance with claiming benefits
- Arrange contractors for jobs that are your responsibility
- Maintain the property in an appropriate condition
- Arranging servicing and repairs of the tenants appliances
- Use of domestic appliances
- Arranging and monitoring recurrent household tasks
- Maintaining safety of the premises
- Maintaining security of the premises
- Adaptations for disability
- Assistance in budgeting
- Advice on moving on
- Advising and assisting on neighbour relationships
- General counselling and support
