Services offered by Empower will vary according to individual needs. Empower Housing Association will help tenants to maximise their options to ensure they have the widest choice of services available to enable them to live independently with support in their local community.
Our management section will provide housing related support and benefits advice. We have a 24 hour ‘Empower’ person available 365 days a year.
Empower offers support and supervision in many areas including:
- Assistance with claiming benefits
- Arrange contractors for jobs that are your responsibility
- Maintain the property in an appropriate condition
- Arranging servicing and repairs of tenants appliances
- Use of domestic appliances
- Arranging and monitoring of recurrent household tasks
- Maintaining the security of the premises
- Maintaining the safety of the premises
- Future adaptation for disability
- Assistance with budgeting
- Advice on moving on
- Advising and assisting on neighbour relationships
- General counselling and support
